SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody is a hilarious new comedy that brings all the naughty fun of the best-selling book to life comes to Ames on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Audiences will laugh aloud with this clever re-imagining of the novel’s characters as they come to life with sharp-witted comedy, musical numbers, and steamy performances from the hunky leading man in the grey tie.
Since its premiere in 2012, SPANK! has become a huge box office hit with tour dates in over 150 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Chicago Public Radio called SPANK! “A hilarious satire of practically every trope in popular culture.”
The story follows an author, EBJ, as she writes a fantasy about a younger version of herself named Natasha Woode and a handsome billionaire, Hugh Hansen.
Audience members can enjoy free samples from Chocolaterie Stam and Snus Hill Winery in the Celebrity Café (north entrance, ground floor) with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
